Abstract
Written with colleagues at the Stockton Center for the Study of International Law who have military operational experience, this piece describes the joint targeting cycle. It separately examines targeting in the air, land, maritime and cyber environments. The chapter concludes with a discussion of coalition targeting and the legal challenges it raises.
