Many countries in recent years has been working in corporate archiving and open access. It means to facilitate access to information, to train qualified people, as well as institutions, organizations organizations, will enable the development of their business.

Developing electronic library (e-library), academic publications and scientific data, has helped take digital environment. Developing this situation has created a new market. İn this case, the costs of researchers and funders, is rising continuously. Especially , institutions and civil society organizations, through open access, providing the reach of science to researchers, facilitating access to information and it is helping to drive down research costs. Cyprus is a member of the European Union. Depending on the responsibility Turkey, Northern Cyprus, is not formally recognized by the European Union.

In this article, researchers in Northern Cyprus, regarding open access to information , it was studied have been evaluated.
