Abstract

The Lisbon Council's 2015 study on intellectual property is shown to be a showcase of methodological blunder, including the use of five different currencies in an inter-country analysis, cherry picking results from over 460 statistical tests based on sample sizes no larger than 8, and many other shocking errors.
