Abstract

This article analyzes how the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and Act of State Doctrine has applied to cases seeking recovery of art stolen during the Nazi era and the Russian Revolution. It served as the basis for a presentation at Case Western Reserve University School of Law conference, The Art of International Law, on September 16, 2016.
