Accountant's Satisfaction with Accounting Software Package Selection in Mid-Sized Business and Small & Medium Enterprise (SMEs) in Nakhon Nayok Province

The purpose of the research is to measure the accountant’s Satisfaction level in small and medium sized business at Nakhon - Nayok Province. The study relates the accountant’s Satisfaction level with accounting software package selection made by them. This research is based on the Herzberg’s two factor theory in measuring the Satisfaction level of accountant’s and for Software Selection. It includes the variables related to the Software agents’ vendors service Initially 269 Sample respondents (accountants) were structured drawn randomly by using Simple random Sampling. Question was developed for the Survey method. The Satisfaction tools used for the Study are mean Pearson’s simple correlation – However the Study-results Indicated that accountant are highly Satisfied in both Small and Medium sized enterprises. The Study also reported that the variables related to Software Selection are highly considered / Satisfied by accountants. Finally, the research found that there is a relationship between accountants’ Satisfaction with Accounting package Selection. The Pearson correlation coefficient it high at .853 with significant p-value < .01 level.
