Electronics engineering is an electrical engineering domain which exploits non-linear and energetic electrical components like semiconductor devices particularly transistors, diodes and integrated circuits for designing electronic circuits, devices, microprocessors, microcontrollers and several other systems. The domain characteristically also enterprises passive electrical components, frequently on the basis of printed circuit boards. Electronics is a sub-field within the broader electrical engineering theoretical subject but signifies a comprehensive engineering ground that shelters sub-fields such as analog electronics, digital electronics, consumer electronics, embedded systems and power electronics. Electronics engineering encompasses application of principles and algorithms that are created within numerous associated fields, for instance solid-state physics, radio engineering, communications, control systems, signal processing, systems engineering, computer science engineering, instrumentation engineering, electric power control, robotics and several others.
