Abstract

The goal of the L1 ARC language project is to build a fully featured planned Semitic language derived from Official Aramaic. The new language has common traits with other Semitic languages but aims to solve problems that those others would still have. This covers the imprecise pronunciation of the abjad alphabet, the difficult phonology, the weakness of cases in verbal sentences, the poorness of time location, the irregularity of word derivation and more.

Keywords: Aramaic, Constructed language, Semitic languages, Grammar
