Abstract

The conceptualization of a medical robot for image guided physiotherapy treatment takes into account various different modules attached to it. This conceptualization involves various aspects of mechanical engineering, electronics engineering and also the computer science engineering. Moreover, it can be said that the mechatronic and computer science applications have been used in this concept building. So, it becomes a perfect combination of engineering and medical sciences. The main modules that contribute to this concept are X-Ray Image Acquisition System, Image Processing, Display Panel, Image Based Control System and Motion Control System.
