Abstract

This short essay rebuts several arguments against the carbon tax made by Diana Furchtgott-Roth in an article published in Tax Notes titled "A Carbon Tax Is Still a Terrible Idea." Though mostly specious, Furchtgott-Roth's arguments are often repeated by carbon tax opponents and are therefore worthy of a reply.
