The Readiness in Establishing Long-Stay Accommodation for Elderly: Case Study of the Sananrak Municipality, Thanyaburi District, Pathumtani Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to study the Readiness in Establishing Long-stay Accommodation for Elderly, case study of the Sananrak Municipality, Thanyaburi District, Pathumtani province and to compare the readiness levels in establishing long-Stay accommodation distinguishes by genders and educational levels. Thus, this research is the Quantitative Research and studied with the population that live in the Sananrak Municipality areas in the total of 16,861 people, with the easily random sampling group of 375 people. Tool used is Questionnaire with the reliability value of .928. Statistical used in data analysis are average, standard deviation, t-test and one way ANOVA. The studied results, found that the readiness in establishing the long-stay accommodation for elderly is in high level. When compare the readiness level in establishing the a long-stay ccommodation distinguishes by genders, found that females are more ready than men without statistical significant and the people who have bachelor degree or higher than bachelor have higher readiness in establishing long-stay accommodation than the people that have lower education than bachelor degree in the statistical significant level of .01.
