Social Networks and the Growth of Their Use by Companies

Abstract

This paper aims to prove the growth in the use of social networks by companies in recent years.

More and more consumers are looking for companies that maintain a permanent contact with the customer and especially where he can consult the opinions of other customers. The goal is also to show that with the passage of time companies have the perfect notion that this happens, and therefore, bet on social networks in order to be able to match the expected and keep up with the competition. Having said this, there is also a sub-thesis, in order to prove that companies really have this notion.

To do this, 100 companies were randomly surveyed from various parts of the country, including islands, which answered a total of 10 multiple-choice questions and allowed certain satisfactory conclusions to be drawn, of which, the most important were that almost 40% of the companies analyzed did not have social networks 5 years ago. This is a significant number given that currently around 97% of companies already own them. It is also important that most companies note that they have gained more customers, and consequently, more profit thanks to their bet on social networks. Last, but not least, another significant conclusion is that companies are 100% aware that more and more social networks are used by themselves and that customers prefer that they have them, which is what they come against my sub thesis.

I was very surprised by the feedback I received from all the companies, and I had the notion that social networks that I did not consider so relevant to a company are definitely the most used, as is the case of YouTube. Also note that the idea that he personally had, that a company dedicated to the industry does not have as much concern with social networks, nor will these make a difference in the opinion and captivation of customers is completely wrong! Industry companies are also affected by the new technologies, and many of them made me arrive that noticed a difference in their customers from the moment they created them.
