Korean Abstract: □ 최근 우리 경제는 대외여건 악화에 따라 수출이 감소하고 내수 증가세도 둔화되는 등 전반적으로 경기 부진이 지속되는 모습

○ 전산업생산은 광공업과 서비스업 등 모두가 전월에 비해 부진함에 따라 증가세가 둔화

○ 대내외 불확실성 확대에 따라 소비 및 투자 등 내수도 약화

- 민간소비 증가세가 비교적 큰 폭으로 둔화되는 가운데, 소비 관련 심리지표도 소폭 하락

- 설비투자는 감소세가 다소 확대되고, 건설투자는 부진이 지속

○ 수출은 대외여건 악화에 따라 감소로 전환되었으며, 수입은 전월과 유사한 감소세를 유지

○ 노동시장은 취업자 증가세가 소폭 둔화되고 고용률도 하락

○ 물가는 석유류 제품가격 하락 및 농축수산물가격 안정 등으로 매우 낮은 상승률을 기록

○ 세계경제는 주요 선진국의 경제지표가 부진한 가운데, 신흥시장국의 성장세도 둔화

- 유로존 위기와 세계경제 둔화에 대한 우려가 지속됨에 따라 국제 금융시장의 불확실성이 확대

English Abstract: * All growth figures are on a year-on-year basis unless otherwise noted.

The Korean economy shows recent signs of overall weakening with the fall in exports caused by worsening external conditions and moderating growth in domestic demand. The whole industry's production growth slowed in June, as services and mining and manufacturing industries showed poorer outcomes than the previous month.

Influenced by growing uncertainties at home and abroad, domestic demand including consumption and investment has weakened.

The private consumption growth slowed at a relatively fast pace and consumption-related sentiment index decreased slightly.

Equipment investment showed a somewhat larger decrement and construction investment continued its recent weakness.

Exports took a downturn due to worsening external conditions, whereas imports continued the downward trend of the previous month.

The labor market showed a slightly slower increment in the number of employed and a fall in the employment rate.

The CPI inflation recorded a very low growth rate due to the fall in the price of petroleum products and stability in the prices of agricultural and petroleum products.

The global economy experienced the moderating growth of emerging market economies amid weakening economic indicators of major advanced economies.

Global financial markets faced a growing uncertainty, influenced by continuing concerns over the Eurozone crisis and a global economic slowdown.
