Objectives: The input data for the model of costs’ optimization are formed for the solution of the transport optimization problem in the global supply chain across the New Silk Road.
Materials and methods: The optimization of the global supply chain is the finding the best way of supply chains’ functioning among the plenty of possible ones aiming the minimization of the costs.
Results: the logical scheme of the transport costs’ optimization model is formed, aiming the removing the kinds of activity with non-productive costs of time or not increasing the value.
Conclusion: the reasons of rare usage of the transport corridors across Central Asia for transit of the cargo from Far East and Europe.
Keywords: Minimization of total cost including cost, resource cost, Objective function
