Abstract

Applications and limitations of binary logic in science are considered, including elements such as symmetry, chirality, corpuscle-wave duality, supramolecular chemistry and organometallic bonding, pointing at times towards some underlying parallels between cultural models and models in understanding the structure of matter, and hoping to raise some interesting questions rather than solve them in the short space and with the limited experience that the authors can offer at this point.

Keywords: binary logic, chirality, chemistry, Eminescu, Sorescu, symmetry, fuzzy logic
