Abstract

In light of the 2016-17 Global Pound Conference Series, this Article presents a brief history of the two prior Pound Conferences in 1906 and 1976. Each of these national conferences has represented an important moment of self-conscious reflection for dispute resolution professionals and the judiciary. This Article was originally presented at the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution's annual Symposium.
