Abstract

Chromium (III) and Molybdenum (III) form complexes of general composition [MLX]X (M = Cr or Mo, L = 2,3,8,9 – tetramethyl – 1,4,7,10 – tetraazacyclododeca-1,3,7,9-etraene(N), TMM and 2,3,8,9 – tetraphenyl – 6,12 – dimethyl – 1,4,7,10 – tetraazacyclododeca – 1,3,7,9 – tetraene (N), TPM and X = NCS , Cl or Br ). These complexes have been synthesized by template method and isolated in solid state. They are characterized by elemental analyses, i.r. and electronic spectra, magnetic moments and molar conductance.
