Comparative Study Regarding GSR and EEG Type Biosignals Simultaneously Answer to Same External Stimulus

Abstract

This paper offers a number of correlations between patterns of GSR and EEG signals, collected simultaneously from the same person by manipulating a number of stimuli with a high degree of discrimination in the field of perception. The GSR pattern is made of the response signals to electrical stimulation, the signals made of, each, from the step signal and the bearing signal, of which envelope contains critical information about the mental- physiological processes on which we intend to apply interference. Hence, the functions of projective response of the neocortex, on each channel in part, were assigned with concrete functions in the mental-physiological dynamics of the evaluated individual, with the aim of obtaining electrical witnesses for correspondence with the EEG-signal typologies.
