Abstract

Talmudic stories are a method used by the ancient sages to teach us about morality, ethics, and the ideal life. This paper examines one Talmudic story involving Rabbi Dimi and his figs and demonstrates several lessons that maybe derived from it. A key lesson is the importance of tolerance, humility, and kindheartedness.
