Abstract

Scholars, activists, and decision-makers of all stripes increasingly invoke human rights in the face of the looming climate catastrophe. This article explores how advocates might use human rights to reframe existing legal regulatory regimes, thereby avoiding the tendency to trade environmental protection for short-term economic advantage.
