Abstract

In the contemporary era, the utmost imperative of energy resource is an undisputed matter all across the globe. It is quite apparent that development of an economy is inextricably interconnected to energy and its sustained supply. The indispensable role of energy in shaping the economy has also been acknowledged in historical events like the Industrial Revolution. Energy is quite appropriately perceived to be the lifeblood of the economy towards attainment of its development goals mainly through its contribution in providing basic human needs. Furthermore, it is considered to be a bedrock input for development and a vital ingredient in attributing to improvements in socioeconomic conditions of underdeveloped nations in particular. Thus, the utmost importance of exploring the immense economies of energy resources has always been of key significance for researchers and policy makers across the world.
