한국의 산업별 자가계정소프트웨어 투자액 추계 (Measurement of Own-Account Software Investment Across Korean Industries)

Abstract

Korean Abstract: 본 연구는 한국고용정보원의 산업직업별 고용구조조사와 통계청의 지역별 고용조사의 자료를 이용하여 2001년부터 2014년까지 26개 산업(제조업 9개, 비제조업 17개)의 자가계정소프트웨어 투자액을 추정하였다. 특히, 국제통계와의 일관성을 위해 OECD (2010)가 권고하고 있는 생산비용접근법에 기반하여 자가계정소프트웨어의 노동비용과 비노동비용을 추정하여 자가계정소프트웨어의 투자액을 추계하였다. 본 연구의 추정결과에 따르면 한국의 자가계정소프트웨어 명목투자액은 2014년 기준 약 3.9조 원으로 전체 총고정자본형성액의 약 0.9% 수준으로 추정되었다. 산업별 추정결과에 따르면 자가계정소프트웨어 투자는 정보통신기술산업과 일부 서비스산업에 집중된 것으로 나타났다. 특히 전문서비스업, 도소매업, 사업지원서비스업, 금융 및 보험업 등 4개 부문의 비중이 전체 투자액의 약 40%에 달하는 것으로 나타났다.

English Abstract: Using data from the Korean Occupational Employment Statistics and the Local Area Labour Force Survey, this study estimates the investment in own-account software across Korean industries (9 manufacturing industries and 17 non-manufacturing industries) from 2001 to 2014. The study employs the cost-based approach recommended by the OECD, and estimates labor and non-labor costs of own-account software to measure firms’ value of investment in it. The value of Korea’s own-account software investment is estimated at 3.9 trillion won in 2014, or about 0.9% of the gross fixed capital formation. Industry-level estimates indicate that Korea’s own-account software investment is concentrated in the information and communications technology industries and in some service sectors, such as professional services, wholesale and retail trade, business support services, and finance and insurance.
