Abstract

Bosnian Abstract: Nova saznanja u naučnim disciplinama koje se bave obrazovanjem danas moraju biti utemeljena na rezultatima empirijskih istraživanja procesa obrazovanja. Ovaj zahtjev se, razumljivo, odnosi i na programe/ sisteme matematičkog obrazovanja. Zato je glavni cilj ovog rada jeste prikazati i ukratko objasniti vrste istraživanja u matematičkom obrazovanju. Još jedan cilj je pobrojati ključne aspekte ovog tipa obrazovnog procesa koji se obično istražuju. Takođe, u ovom radu je istaknuto ko su sudionici istraživanja matematičkog obrazovanja, kao i koji se instrumenti (tehnike) najčešće koriste za ove svrhe. Na kraju su pobrojani uobičajeni metodološki nedostaci istraživanja u (matematičkom) obrazovanju, te je priloženo nekoliko smjernica za istraživače u ovoj oblasti (poštivanje etičkih standarda struke, umrežavanje relevantnih teorija, adekvatnija komunikacija između istraživača i nastavnika matematike...).

English abstract: New insights in educational sciences today must be based on the results of empirical research of the educational process. This requirement, understandably, also applies to mathematics education programs/systems. Hence, the main purpose of this paper is to present and briefly explain the types of research in mathematical education. Another goal is to list key aspects of this type of educational process that are usually investigated. Also, in this paper is highlighted the following: who are participants in the research of mathematical education, as well as what instruments (techniques) are most often used for these purposes. Finally, the usual methodological shortcomings of research in (mathematical) education are listed and several guidelines are provided for researchers in this area (taking into account ethical standards of this profession, the networking of relevant theories, the appropriate communication between researchers and mathematics' teachers...).
