In the article the problem of social and economic inequality is considered.In Kazakhstan, 50% of workers and 30% of pensioners work in addition to earning extra income. The level of social equality (inequality) is primarily related to the income system. The sum of all the money spent on the material wealth of a person to a certain standard of living is, in fact, the result of economic activity. Revenues are classified according to source. They are divided into basic and additional types of income. In the conditions of a developed market economy, a person normally gets a certain kind of basic income. For those who work hard, this is a wage, and for entrepreneurs it is a net profit.
