Abstract

In 2006, Mathias Reimann and Reinhard Zimmermann edited the Oxford Handbook of Comparative Law, a comprehensive overview of the history, methodologies, and subject area of comparative law. The author contributed a chapter on Comparative Labor Law. A decade later, the editors decided to update that work. This Chapter provides a reconsideration of comparative labor law as a legal category, its taxonomy, the direction of the subject of its address, and its future.
