Abstract

We study the variable airfoils (NACA2414, NACA0024, NACA0012 and NACA2424) and compare for aerodynamic performance. XFOIL is used for finding out Lift coefficient, Drag coefficient, Glide ratio (Cl/Cd) and attack angle (α). for finding out the performance of the wind turbine blade we use blade element momentum (BEM) method.
