Abstract

Primary concern of every school is to make a learning environment conducive for learning. Teachers design and structure their classrooms before the classes begin. What may the teacher believe conducive learning environment may not be conducive to all learners specifically if the learners are as young as preschoolers, though in operational stage, but not yet articulate to express their learning needs. In this study, the most apparent physiological-perceptual preference of the learner was tactile and they respond best in a learning environment that is well-lit, cool and with acceptable volume of sound. Cool temperature was found significant to tactile and kinesthetic while design was positively correlated to auditory learner. Learning Style Inventory for Primary was the adopted tool and was translated to Bisaya, the mother tongue of the learner to get accurate information.
