Abstract
China is the most populated country in terms of Internet users (CNNIC, 2017), its government might be also considered one of the most important one to promote an alternative vision of Internet governance. At the present stage, the Internet is mainly based on a multi-stakeholder model which equally includes government representatives but also engineers, members of nonprofit organizations, lobbies and individuals in the decision-making process.
