Abstract

This paper attempts to introduce an alternative multidimensional graphical approach to visualize the oil prices behavior by stages. Hence, this research presents a new graphical method is entitled “The Infinity Physical Space (I-Physical Space).” The I-Physical Space can show the expansion or contraction of oil prices into a fixed period. In our case, we are using ten years per period. Subsequently, this research paper is evaluating five periods follow by Period-I: 1960s; Period-II: 1970s; Period-III: 1990s; Period-IV: 2000/2009; Period-V: 2010/2019 respectively. In the same study, we can find how the oil prices vulnerability in different periods of time through the application of the I-Physical Space. According to this research, the vulnerability of oil prices is affected by various socio-economic-political events simultaneously in the short run. The evaluation of oil prices in this study is under two categories are (i) the stable oil prices range or (ii) the unstable oil prices range.
