Globalisation is a process of increasing interdependence, interconnectedness and integration of economies and societies to such an extent that an event in one part of the globe affects people in other parts of world. Increasing levels of international interconnectedness has affected the social, economic, and political conditions for women in India. The study attempts to understand the indicators of women empowerment and the impact of globalisation on the women of India.
