Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present a cooperative approach to improve productivity in organizations. To promote teamwork culture, productivity indexes are considered individually and collectively, respectively, and by comparing the scores that each individual employee earns individually and collectively, their differences become apparent. In this approach, the cooperative games model is used in order to improve productivity. The proposed model, in addition to evaluating organization and employees activities, is able to implement all payments including overtime pay, reward and etc., fairly and along with increasing productivity and satisfaction. The cooperative approach creates effective communications between employees and authorities and enhances their motivation for teamwork. Moreover, the results can be used in the decisions related to employees (such as promotion, transition, firing and detachment), analysis of training requirements, employees’ development, and research and plan valuation. The paper provides the new method in which the collaborative coefficient is a key factor in increasing productivity, and has rarely been considered by prior literature.
