Abstract

Security of the information exchange is the primary concern in the world today. Cryptographic algorithms play a major role in securing the information exchange. In this paper, the design of algorithm Kalam10 is discussed. Algorithm Kalam10 is a stream cipher consisting of an 8-byte key, along with nonce and constants. This paper describes in detail about the design of algorithm and Simulation results show that proposed Kalam10 has effective throughput and minimum CLB slices.

Keywords: Network Security, Cryptography and Stream cipher
