Abstract

The app aims to help users maintain a healthy life style by tracking steps and calories burnt and measuring calorie intake. Giving emphasis to heart patients the app would record blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar level of individuals to ascertain any risk by implementing machine learning algorithms. The app aims to be an overall solution for all fitness needs in modern world and would recommend changes in lifestyle and measures to take. The algorithms applied are linear discriminant analysis and k nearest neighbors for classification of data. The user can analyze his/her health fitness. The predicted health status is shown as good, average and bad.

The user is shown the recommended exercises, walking required and running required based on his health status. The app also provides the functionality to view your health status in a graph showing time on the horizontal axis and health status on vertical axis.
