Abstract

The first thing, because it can reduce environmental problems, namely the reduction of pollution in the city, because plants can take carbon emissions and remove oxygen. The second thing, because with Urban Farming, can provide food with sufficient nutrition for those affected by poverty and hunger. Third, because the limitations of land and water can be overcome by the Urban Farming technique, which can utilize Vertical Agriculture techniques (agriculture and above). The government, as a driving force for the implementation of Urban Farming, may be able to play a role through the capacity to give a demonstration in the activities of daily life in the urban area, through the utilization of facilities owned by the government.
