Abstract

This blog post describes how side-pocketing can be used as a liquidity management tool by the Indian mutual fund industry. The aftermath of the JPM Mutual Fund- Amtek Auto issue, side-pocketing has been a highly debated yet unregulated by SEBI. This blog post suggests ways in which side-pocketing may be regulated in India.
