Abstract

When planning for a major organizational change, a company's top management should take into account how the human brain's threat & reward system operates, in order to plan and foresee how the change message should be effectively communicated to the company's ranks, so a leveled playing field for the desired organizational revamp can exist. An approach that takes into consideration the functioning of the threat & reward system should be, then, the playing field in which changes can be fostered and effectively carried out.
