Abstract

Everyone has emails and other digital information that they consider to be no one's business except their own. Using famous Hollywood and sextortion cybercrimes as case studies, this article helps the reader understand how to protect themselves, their clients and their loved ones from online predators. It also shows how survivors of sex-based cybercrime - like Scarlett Johansson and others - fought back against their assailants. Finally, the article explains how law enforcement can help those harmed by these crimes.
