Abstract
Bateman and Crant (1993) developed the proactive personality and defined the construct as a measure of an individual’s nature to take it upon themselves to implement change to affect their current situation. Although the proactivity personality construct is nearly 25 years old, to my knowledge, no research has investigated the effects of proactivity personality between coworkers. I posit that when two coworkers that are high in proactivity personality, satisfaction with one coworker will be low.
