Abstract
Banks are essential for commerce and for companies in general, as they are responsible for financing operations, offering credit and investing in start-ups, thus moving our economy with the criterion of the invisible hand, "laissez faire, laissez passer" by Adam Smith.
Banks have been marked by a strong commitment to comply with rules appropriate to the prudential ratios, to avoid systemic effect, in an adverse context, guaranteeing the exchange stability of the countries, and Angola does not escape the rule.
In order to know the genesis of the banks, this article aims to make a brief approach on the establishment of a bank in Angola.
The first point makes a theoretical approach on commercial bank and does a distinctive definition between this concept and concepts of investment and saving bank; and finally, the second point addresses the constitutional process of commercial banks in Angola.
I concluded that constitutional process of commercial banks will suffer changes always that the National Bank of Angola make decisions to regulate the banking system for improvement the good running of economy.
