Modern Methodology

Abstract

Science is knowledge. People produce knowledge. It follows the only valid understanding of science can be from within a valid scientific general theory of psychology. The only scientific general theory of psychology was published in 2014.

Prior, there had never has been a valid scientific general theory of psychology. Which means all discussion on psychology, science, epistemology, knowledge etc., prior to 2014, and since 2014 if the discussions did not bring the theory published in 2014 to account, had no scientific foundation, they were all speculation,

To my knowledge, this is the first presentation of science from within the spiritual model of humanity, the only scientific general theory of humanity able to claim the name. Prior to this book, understanding of science … what it was, how to best interpret the results, and what we needed do next to advance science … is not valid and is little more than science fiction.
Modern Methodology is the presentation of science from within the scientific general theory of psychology of 2014. What emerges is very different from the current popular understanding of science.

This correct scientific interpretation of science raises practical questions like … are we premature spending billions on the large particle collider at CERN, in that we lack depth causal understanding of the universe within which we can aptly interpret the results?

Science emerges as a crucial aspect of our psychology. It is given special status as befits its special characteristics in our modern world and going forward.

Science is the precision core of the fundamental human quest in search of better ideas with which to build a better life. Within the broader search, seeking the better ideas with which to build a better life, all people are scientists.

Science is the core of human nature.
