Abstract

This article discusses one of the great concerns of the day: that fortune cookies hardly ever contain fortunes. When we want to be told that something wonderful is going to happen, we instead get a yukky aphorism. The author valiantly tries to find some connection between this issue and the law. You can decide whether he succeeds or not.

Keywords: fortune cookies, aphorisms
