Abstract

In this manuscript, the coupled Continuous Time Random Walk (CTRW) optimal search strategy is designed to find the target site. In which, the search lengths distribution satisfies a power-law function. The Levy flight optimal search strategy which has been adopted in a variety of fields can been seen as a special case of the proposed algorithm. Also, the search efficiency function is derived to evaluate the algorithm’s performance. Based on fractional calculus technique, its governing equation containing the coupled space-time fractional derivative is further given. Several numerous simulations are obtained to verify the veracity of the derived results.
