Abstract

What defines "just taxation" or "Tax Justice"? So far, there has been little work done by ethicists. The argument is that there is less sense in defining "the just form of taxation", but rather, and for a start, removing existing injustice in taxation. This paper is based on principles and norms of Catholic Social Teaching.

Note: This paper is the short version of the longer paper by Alt, Jörg "Tax Justice - Justice of Taxation".

Keywords: Tax Justice, Justice of Taxation
