Abstract

Business Intelligence is currently the keyword for business. BI platforms or software, allow manager to extract proficiency insight, KPI and indicator – or visualize data and reports – not only to conduct expost analysis but especially in order to predict future. Adopting a process-based approach, businesses can improve their own competiviness. Single data might not allow to obtain relevant indicator or hae significance. Interpreting data data assumes relevance and might be used to drive and take controlled and coherent business decisions. When a BI platform is settled up respecting a SEM approach innovation can invest the whole value production chain and in a long-term horizon flow in a Big Data management system.
