Para mejorar el Dictamen del Congreso sobre la Crisis Financiera (To Improve the Congress Report on the Financial Crisis)

Abstract

Spanish Abstract: El Dictamen actual tiene poco de “investigación” porque a) habla de muchas opiniones y teorías, y de pocos hechos; b) no identifica a las personas responsables de acciones u omisiones; c) omite algunas declaraciones importantes de comparecientes; d) no han comparecido personas que sí pueden informar sobre hechos cruciales y delictivos…

El Dictamen termina con muchas conclusiones y recomendaciones, pero no contiene la más obvia: aplicar las leyes existentes a las personas que las infringieron.

La siguiente versión de este Dictamen mejorará si los redactores tienen en cuenta el siguiente axioma lógico: “Si alguien presume de prever razonablemente crisis, cotizaciones, tipos de interés… y no es billonario, podemos afirmar que es un…”. Esta versión incluye (anexo 5) 62 interesantes comentarios de lectores de versiones anteriores.

English Abstract: The current Report has little "research" because a) it speaks of many opinions and theories, and of few facts; b) does not identify the persons responsible for actions or omissions; c) omits some important statements; d) no people have appeared who can report crucial and criminal facts ...

The Report ends with many conclusions and recommendations, but it does not contain the most obvious: apply the existing laws to the people who violated them.

The following version of this Report will improve if the drafters take into account the following logical axiom: "If someone says that he is able to anticipate crisis, market prices, interest rates ... and is not a billionaire, we can affirm that he is a ...". We also formulate more than 20 questions whose answer would improve the Report.
