Abstract

The project aims the making use of developing technology i.e. IOT and smart agriculture using automation. In this project we are using a Fipy board, Pysense board, Pycom expansion board and Raspberry Pi. The Pysense board contains number of inbuilt sensors; they are Temperature and Humidity Sensor, Barometric Sensor and Ambient Light Sensor. Further, the Fipy board is connected to a Pysense board as well as a Raspberry Pi and the whole device is deployed into field. Using LoRa technology node is communicated with gateway and sends sensor data to gateway as well as sensors data is also stored in a Raspberry Pi. Further, using mobile hotspot sensors data can stored into a database. Hence the above description is mainly to build the smart agriculture using Internet of Things.

Keywords: Precision Agriculture, LoRa Communication, IOT
