Abstract

Security tokens are likely to struggle to achieve broad adoption until their functionality on-chain extends beyond their mere ability to facilitate trade. While multiple standards have been proposed to increase liquidity and enable on-chain ownership, limited progress has been made making these tokens fully functional. We have developed a framework that extends security standards by enabling them to make dividend/interest payments, conduct shareholder votes, redeem/repurchase securities and restrict transfers.
