Abstract

Sewage water is becoming a problem for every household, as a lot of water is wasted into drainage and no treatment is done in many cases. To use the sewage water up to its fullest level, a system is developed which can extract heat which is actually present in the sewage water. The water which is directly disposed into sewer lines actually have a lot of potential in the form of heat, it carries with. So from where does this heat come in sewage water! Actually it is energy content from ones household water from heater water, dishwasher and the normal water which is used in kitchen, there is always a deviation in the temperature between atmospheric temperature and the drained water one. Taking advantage of this difference in temperature, the extra (waste) heat can be utilized to actually preheat the water, which can be use for much household application.
