Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of religiosity and fashion consciousness on intention to using hijab. This study motivated by increasing support to muslimah to using Islamic dress, on the other hand, fashion has been perceived against Islamic teaching, and it is indicating can alter the practice of using hijab. The survey conducted to 150 Ternate-North Maluku muslimah by using convenience sampling. Proposed model tested by utilized PLS-SEM. The result shows that religiosity and fashion consciousness has a positive impact on using hijab intention. Religiosity has a stronger impact rather than fashion consciousness. This study contributes to understanding Muslim Behavior.
