Abstract

The trust management is a most important concerning issue in the new emerging cloud computing model. Design an effective trust management model in the cloud computing environment is a challenging task due to the dynamic and open nature of cloud computing and trust nature, which is a nonmeasurable social context, that cannot define/write into an agreement. Also, most of the models are static. To overcome the current trust management issue in the cloud, we introduced a novel User and Service Trust evaluation model (USTrust), which establish a dynamic trust relationship between the cloud user and services. In this proposed work, feedback collector module collects feedbacks of the service from the previous cloud service usage customers. Based on these feedbacks, the Trust Evaluation Center (TEC) evaluates the service trust value, and from the calculated trust value, the user can decide the service is trusted or not. The user trust evaluation is based on user behavior features. The reliability weight calculation concept is used to filter out the malicious feedbacks. The detail presentation and experiments show that the proposed USTrust model is more effective, reliable and accurate for trust management in the cloud computing environment.
