Abstract
I will begin by explaining why the Green Bag is publishing a second almanac ( the Baker Street Almanac) when we are already quite happy, and busy, with our first series (the Green Bag Almanac & Reader). Then I will briefly sketch some of what we have (and have not) done in this volume, and what we hope to do in years to come.
